DISCLAIMER
This service is offered to Alliance for Community Empowerment Trust by providing a convenient online platform for supporters to contribute funds to our nonprofit organization. The payment gateway utilized for fund collection is hosted through BillDesk, our chosen Payment Service Provider. We want to clarify that the use of this online payment service is entirely at the risk and responsibility of the user.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Our nonprofit organization, its affiliates, or employees shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or any other intangible losses arising out of or in connection with the access to or usage of the payment gateway service.
We assume no liability for any monetary or other damage suffered by you due to any delay, failure, interruption, or corruption of data or information transmitted during the use of the payment gateway service.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless our organization, along with our officers, directors, and employees, from any claim or demand arising from your use of the payment gateway service. We will not be liable for failures in the external link or for any fraud occurring at the payment gateway and/or at the bank end during or after the payment.
By making a payment, you acknowledge and confirm that personal data, including details related to debit/credit cards or bank accounts, transmitted during the payment process, is susceptible to misuse, theft, and/or fraud. Our organization has no control over such matters.
While we take reasonable care to guard against unauthorized use of information transmitted, we do not guarantee that the use of the payment gateway will be free from theft and/or unauthorized use of data over the internet.
DEBIT/CREDIT CARD, BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS
Supporters can contribute funds to our organization using a Debit/Credit Card or through their Internet Banking Account. By providing debit/credit card details to the payment gateway for processing transactions, users confirm the accuracy of the provided information and ensure lawful ownership of the card.
When initiating a payment transaction and/or issuing an online payment instruction, users agree to:
Warrant that they are fully and lawfully entitled to use the provided debit/credit card or bank account for transactions.
Ensure the accuracy of all provided debit/credit card or bank account details.
Authorize the debit to the nominated debit/credit card or bank account for the settlement of selected bills along with applicable fees.
Ensure sufficient credit is available on the presented debit/credit card or bank account at the time of making the payment.
By proceeding ahead with the payment process you expressly agree and provide your consent to the above mentioned Terms and Conditions.
Privacy Policy
You agree that we may use Customer Information for the purpose of statistical analysis and for creation of data ("Statistical Information"), which does not contain individual Customer Information. In addition to the information that the Bank elicits from you, you are free to volunteer any other information that you feel that the Bank needs to know, but the security and confidentiality as per this Policy is guaranteed only to the information that the Bank directly asks from you.
This Policy holds true for a non-customer who has provided information to the Bank, by any means, with the intentions of establishing a relationship, of whatsoever nature, with the Bank. By divulging any information to us you agree to the terms and conditions of this Policy.
USE OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION / STATISTICAL INFORMATION
We may use the Customer Information for, among other things, customer verification, provision of products and services, for personalization of products or services, marketing or promotion of our financial services or related products or that of our associates and affiliates; for creation of Statistical Information, statistical analysis or credit scoring, enforcement of your obligations, any other purpose that will help us in providing you with optimal and high quality services.
SECURITY
We have taken reasonable measures to protect security and confidentiality of the Customer Information and its transmission through the World Wide Web. You are required to follow the Terms and Conditions while using this Website including the instructions stated therein in respect of security and confidentiality of your Log-in and Password. The Bank will give access to Customer Information to only authorized employees. Employees who violate this Privacy Policy shall be subject to disciplinary process as per the bylaws of the Bank. Any employee who withdraws from the employment of the Bank will have to undertake to abide by this Privacy Policy and keep all Customer Information secure and confidential.
